it takes me weeks to make mixes because i want them to be perfect and there is always that one song that i wish i took off but i didn't. also i'm always worried someone is going to read too far into it or NOT ENOUGH so much pressure
EXACTLY. THE PRESSURE. plus i have made so many mixes over the past 10 years for so many people that i have the added worry that i would have already given them many of the songs on the tape or disk.

i used to keep a journal of each mix tape and for who, but that’s long gone.
wish i wouldn’t have lost it / spilled whiskey all over it.
